At this age, children are ready to participate by themselves. Cypress Academy uses the sport of gymnastics as a tool to challenge children to expand their developing capabilities.

In our Boys Rec Program, your gymnast will be introduced to the basic skills in gymnastics on all six men’s Olympic events (Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar).

Tumbling

Our tumbling program begins with Intro to Tumbling which emphasizes the fundamentals of tumbling: cartwheels and round-offs, with an introduction to back handsprings.

Summer Camps
ANYONE & EVERYONE ages 4 and up (must be completely potty trained) are welcome.
Weekly: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
BEFORE CARE (7:30am-9:00am) – $35 PER CHILD
AFTER CARE (3:30pm-5:00pm) – $35 PER CHILD
$250 when paid in full prior to camp. $275 at the door. 10% OFF 2nd child and 20% OFF each additional child.

Our Reviews
I dropped my 6-year-old off for a play day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This was only our second visit to this gymnastics facility. When I picked him up, I found out he hadn't had any water and hadn't eaten the lunch I packed for him.
I asked my son what happened, and he told me he never saw his lunch box and was only given a cookie as a snack. I asked him multiple times to make sure I understood correctly, and he consistently said that no one asked whether he had brought a lunch or helped him locate it.
I called the facility afterward, and they confirmed that the children were expected to line up and retrieve their own lunch boxes. It appears my son's lunch box was misplaced or overlooked. I specifically mentioned his lunch when I dropped him off, and my son absolutely knows what his lunch box looks like and would have eaten it if he had been able to find it.
The lack of coordination and communication is concerning. My biggest concern is that if he had been enrolled in a full-day program, he could have gone the entire day without eating his lunch or drinking enough water. At just 6 years old, he still needs occasional reminders and guidance with routines like meals and hydration. I would have expected staff to notice that a young child had not eaten the lunch his parent provided and to check in with him.
I also noticed that many of the instructors appeared to be very young adults. While they were friendly, there were moments when I felt they missed opportunities to properly guide, supervise, or assist younger children as they learned new skills. Younger children often require more hands-on instruction, encouragement, and awareness than older, more independent kids.
Based on our experience, this program may be a better fit for older children who are more independent and comfortable managing these routines on their own.
Unfortunately, this experience has caused us to lose confidence in leaving our son in their care, and we will not be returning. I hope the facility takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication, supervision, and procedures for younger children so that no other family has a similar experience.

Incredible. I highly recommend Cypress Academy birthday parties and especially Ben and Trinity.
On top of the “academic” side to it, the gym also constantly offers fun, events - from “parents date night” to full day themed fun & learn sessions. All at very affordable prices (and please keep it that way, Cypress!)
Our daughter started at her 4th birthday. She just turned five and she just cannot get enough of this place!
